Floribunda

The Floribunda rose has gone through a continuing transition from its original type. The modern day floribunda has transitioned to carry all of the hybrid tea rose colors and the hybrid forms. There isn't much difference between the hybrid tea roses and the floribunda's, in fact the only difference between the two, is the cluster-flowering habit.

Floribunda roses make wonderful low hedges, this all due to their growth height and their dense habit. Different varieties produce sprays of single, semi-double and double flowers, in basically all rose colors, some with fragrance, through out the growing season. Floribunda roses create bushy plants, which are attractive and this makes them a good choice for mass plantings. The also mix well with a choice specimen plant and when planted in a bed with any other plant.
