Garden hose’s is an essential tool when it comes to landscaping and gardening. This is the way most people are able to get water from their house out to the garden or area they are growing their plants and vegetables. 

As shown below, there are numerous attachments that people use to water their gardens and lawns.  One mistake a lot of gardeners and homeowners make, is using the wrong attachment for certain jobs. Some of these means to disperse water around your garden can and will actually damage your crops, because of the force, of the water when it come out of the garden hose.

Most garden hoses are typically made out of a synthetic rubber or even a soft plastic. This creates a garden hose to be flexible and smooth making it easier to slide through grass and around trees and corners of one’s house.

One important note about garden hoses are, when the seasons start to change and cold starts to set in, make sure you wrap up your garden hose and bring it indoors, putting away in area’s like a shed or on the inside wall of your garage.  Because if you keep it outside, the potential for your garden hose to crack from freezing is very probable.

And as a piece of trivia, garden hoses have been actually used as a musical instrument. And there are written pieces of music that are strictly written for the garden hose, also known as the hosepipe in Britain.
