Daffodil ( Year Round )

Now if there is a favored spring flower, we would have to say that it is the daffodil. Generally horticulturists have identified a daffodil as the trumpet shaped variety of the narcissus. For the rest of the time I will be referring narcissus as a daffodil since this is what most people know them as.  The daffodil belongs to the Amaryllis Family, although there are only about 2 dozen species in the genus, there are thousands of named cultivators.

We discuss quite a bit about the easy ways of producing a garden. Because we understand, many of the people that are looking to plant a garden don’t have days and days to plan and grow a garden. Even though if you garden it will take some time to plan and build a good-looking garden. So to make this easy on you a daffodil bulb is one of the easiest to work with. In reality, all you have to do for a daffodil bulb is dig a hole and drop the bulb in. Add a little fertilizer and let the daffodil take over. However, starting a daffodil in a well tilled, fertilized bed will eliminate the competition from grass and weeds. This will allow the bulbs get off to a better start and ensure a better start and larger blossom.

A little helpful hint from your Landscaping friends here, a daffodil has crystals instilled in them that are poisonous and rodents that normally each bulbs, tend to stay away from daffodil bulbs. So to help your gardens, plant some daffodil bulbs in the same region as some of the bulbs that would be a more suitable meal.
